Though Aazinians prefer to avoid conflict where possible - a significant part of why they tend to keep themselves apart from the other Federation races - they do recognise the need for a specialist combat division within their communities. The LG soldier is part of that division, equipped with a lightly armoured bio-suit offering protection in different environments, and trained to use the innate dexterity of the Aaziniarzindial species to its advantage.
The toughest part of an LG soldier’s suit is the helmet, which is created from specially tempered glass. It is strong enough to cope with numerous heavy impacts without its structural integrity being compromised - a fact that LG soldiers have taken advantage of when participating in Battledome matches, as opponents looking for a quick win tend to aim for the head for a rapid knock-out. There is even interstellar media footage of an LG soldier taking a club to the side of the helmet and using the sideways momentum to perform a high-speed cartwheel into another opponent, knocking them out cold.
