Infamous throughout Federation space, Ted is something of a Metaversal savant. Known for his trademark sunglasses - which he wears at all times, even in the dark (it's rumoured they're actually cybernetic implants that can't be removed) - and the flawlessly conditioned raven-dark locks of hair framing his face, he pops up from time to time in various regions of Federation space and drops cryptic pearls of Metaversal wisdom.
The first such pearl is both the most cryptic and the one that helped garner him his reputation. It reads:
"When you are ready, you will realise there are only forks"
Many scholars of different races have pondered these words, and no few minds have been left scrambled trying to discern their import. Perhaps someday, somewhere, their meaning will be revealed.
Fans of the eccentric genius, clamouring for news of any potential sighting of him, have recently been flocking to Battledome City following the news that he was spotted in a tea shop there. Whether this was an actual sighting or not remains unclear, though given that there are numerous “mega-fans” who have styled themselves to look as similar to Ted as possible, the odds are relatively low that it was the real deal.
