Biographical Summary[]
As the Robotron civilization continued to develop the need for dedicated combat units became readily apparent – not merely to keep Robotron territory clear of typical miscreants, but also to secure their communities against the threat of invasion from outside forces who would enslave or otherwise abuse the nascent race for their own gain.
Robotron Terminators are the result, designed by the Robotron hive mind to be elite combat units whilst continuing to maintain a humanoid appearance and benefitting from sentience-granting AI technology. As such, whilst they are hardy battlefield combatants capable of executing enemies with brutal efficiency, they are also able to commingle and interact with communities in the same way as other Robotrons are – though their social repertoire does leave something to be desired, as their jokes are considered universally awful.
Terminators are something of a fan favourite during Battledome matches, as they have a tendency to quote lines from a series of ancient human movies during combat. Unit 01100001 01110010 00111010 01101110 01101001 (AR:NI) famously began the trend by yelling “I’ll be back!” as it was carried from the arena after a particularly intense battle with an enhanced Reptiloid.
